Adding a custom filter

To add a custom filter:

  1. Click Main Menu ()
  2. Click the Company information link.
  3. When the Company information page opens, scroll down to the Worklist and Scans filter sections.
  4. Click Add scan filter for the Scans view or Add case filter for the Worklist view.
  5. When the Filter details view opens, enter a name for the filter.

    Note: Adding a numerical prefix to the name will order filters from left (lowest number) to right (highest number) on the page or from top (lowest number) to bottom (highest number) within the Filters menu. For example, “1 My Queue.”
  6. Choose the display type:

    Element

    Description

    List

    Adds the filter to the Filters menu.

    Note: List is the default option.

    Pin

    Adds the filter to the Filters menu and to the top of the Worklist or Scans view as a button.

    Badge

    Adds the filter to the Filters menu and the top of the Worklist or Scans view as a button with a badge displaying a count of the total number of cases that appear when that filter is used.

    Menu

    Adds the filter to the Filters menu and the top of the Worklist or Scans page as a button with a badge displaying a count of the total number of cases or scans that appear when that filter is used. In addition, it places a badge showing the count for that filter over the Main Menu and Worklist or Scans link.

  7. Choose the desired filters and sorting options, and Sort by and Group by options. For more information, view Worklist advanced filter and Scans advanced filter.
  8. Click Save.
    Important: The custom filter must be unique. If the custom filter you create is identical to an existing one, a notification will appear, and the Save button will be disabled.
    Important: Click Close (X) closes the dialog without saving changes.

Editing a custom filter

To edit a custom filter:

  1. Click Main Menu ()
  2. Click the Company information link.
  3. When the Company information page opens, scroll down to the Worklist filter sections. For more information, view Worklist advanced filter and Scans advanced filter.
  4. Click the display type button (, , , ) to cycle through the different Display type options.
  5. Click Edit ().
  6. When the Filter details dialog opens, make the desired changes. 
  7. Click Save.

    Important: Clicking Close (X) closes the dialog without saving any changes.

    Important: If a filter has the No filter has been set alert (), you must edit that filter and add at least one filter option.

Deleting a custom filter

To delete a custom filter:

  1. Click Main Menu ().
  2. Click the Company information link.
  3. When the Company information page opens, scroll down to the Worklist or Scans filters section.
  4. Click Delete () for the selected filter.
  5. When the Remove filter confirmation dialog opens, click Yes.

Important: Clicking anywhere outside the Remove filter confirmation dialog or clicking No exits the dialog without saving changes.
