Editing and deleting a case

The Edit case dialog allows you to edit case information. To access the Edit case dialog:

  1. Click Main Menu ().
  2. Click the Worklist link.
  3. When Worklist opens, click Edit case () for a case.

or

  1. From the Details page, click Edit case ().

Editing a case

To edit a case:

  1. Open the Edit case dialog (see above).
  2. Make the desired changes to the following data:

    Feature

    Description

    Case number

    The alphanumeric name of the case.

    Case type

    The case’s test type.

    Assigned to

    To whom the case is assigned, or if the case is “Unassigned.”

    Batch ID

    The ID of the batch to which the case belongs.

  3. Click Update.

    Important: Clicking Delete and confirming the deletion permanently deletes the case and associated scans.

Deleting a case

To delete a case:

  1. Open the Edit case dialog (see above).
  2. Click Delete ().
  3. When the Deletion confirmation dialog opens, click Delete.

    Important: Confirming the deletion of a case permanently deletes that case and any associated scans.

    Note: Clicking Cancel closes the dialog without saving changes.
