The Sporecyte application is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform accessible from a wide variety of internet-enabled devices. However, for the best experience, we strongly recommend reviewing Technical specifications:
Techcyte Connect
Operating system: Windows 10 +.
Processor: Core i3 Intel® processor or faster
RAM: 4 GB
Bandwidth: The recommended bandwidth is 10+ Mbps upload and download speeds. Sporecyte will operate with upload and download speeds as low as 4 Mbps; however, depending on the size of the scan, the time to upload can be longer than desired.
Whitelisted domains: You must whitelist the following domains for the Sporecyte Uploader to work correctly:
- *.amazonaws.com
- *.techcyte.com (for Techcyte products)
- *.sporecyte.com (for Sporecyte products)
Sporecyte web services
Supported devices: Desktop computers that can connect to the internet and run any supported web browsers.
Keyboard: A US QWERTY keyboard is required for Sporecyte’s keyboard shortcuts to function correctly.
Supported web browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge
