When you sign in to the Sporecyte application, you will see the Worklist view first, which is the default starting page for all activity within the application. The Worklist includes a list of cases that need to be reviewed and several filter tools to help you work more efficiently.
To access Worklist:
- Sign in to your account.
or
- Click Main Menu (
).
- Click the Worklist link.
or
- Click on the Sporecyte logo in the upper left corner of any view.
For more information, view Cases and case listings.
Worklist filters
The Worklist has default and custom filters, as well as filter buttons to help you find and organize the cases you need to review. The filter buttons above the case listings may vary depending on the test. For more information concerning Worklist filters, view the Filters menu.
Worklist workflows
The content appearing within Worklist varies depending on the workflow configured for your Sporecyte implementation. If a case workflow is enabled, the Worklist displays a list of cases (also known as case listings). Otherwise, a scan workflow is enabled, and the Worklist displays a list of scans. A case or scan (for scan workflows) contains all the information and features you need to review it.
Cases workflow
If your Lab Information System (LIS) is integrated with the Sporecyte application, a matching case is automatically created within the Sporecyte application when a case is created within your LIS. Any scans uploaded to theSporecyteapplication are automatically matched to the correct case using a scan’s barcode.
You may also manually create a case by adding the patient information and the scan’s barcode. Similar to cases created with an integrated LIS, uploaded scans automatically match the correct manually created case listing.
Scans workflow
If your Lab Information System (LIS) is integrated with the Sporecyte application, a matching scan (test order data and image) is automatically created within the Sporecyte application. Any scans (images) uploaded to the Sporecyte application are automatically matched to the correct scan (test order data entity) using a barcode.
You may also manually create a scan (test order data entity), adding the patient information and the scan’s barcode. The Sporecyte application will match any scanned images to the correct scan (test order data entity).
