Below are the items that each Job should include:

Item

Description

Project Name

A reference that is included on the cover page of the report. Consider using your client’s name, property address, or job number for this field. Avoid generic labels such as “home”, “N/A”, etc.

Project Address

The address of the property you are testing.

Sample

Choose the type of sample you are taking. This includes Indoor Air, Outdoor Air, and Surface samples.

Sample Type

Choose the type of media you used to take the sample.

Sample Location

The Sample Location is what the sample will be called in the report. Make sure to label it properly to help create an organized report (ex: Master Bedroom, Kitchen, Basement Family Room, etc.).

Barcode (Serial #)

Be careful when entering the barcode, as this is critical for the lab to process your samples. If your supplies do not have a barcode, label the exterior with a unique identifier (ex: #1, #2, etc.) and enter that information in the barcode field.

Duration

Sample processing duration is recommended at 5 minutes. In some cases, you may choose to vary your sample time. In those cases, make sure to input the correct sample duration in the Sporecyte app.

Flow

The flow is the calibrated flow rate for your pump. For the cassettes Sporecyte processes, this should be set to 15 LPM. If your sample varies, make sure to enter an accurate flow rate.

  1. After creating the job, you will be brought to a confirmation page.
