For tests that utilize the case workflow, a scan refers to the scan’s image and any data associated with that scan. The case contains the test order data and a link to any associated scans.
Note: The use of the term “scan” within a case workflow differs from the use of “scan” within a scan workflow. Within a scan workflow, a scan includes the image, scan data, and test order data.

Viewing a scan (image)
To view a scan (image):
- Click Main Menu (
). - Click the Worklist link.
- When the Worklist page opens:
- Click the case number of a selected case to open the associated scan in Gallery view.
- Click View slide (
) of a selected case to open the scan in Slide view.
or
- From the Details view, click View slide (
) to open the scan in Slide view or View gallery (
) to open the scan in Gallery view.
Viewing a scan (data)
To view a scan (data):
- Click Main Menu (
). - Click the Scans view link.
Note: The Scans view is only available with case workflows. - View the available information for the desired scan, or click Details (
) or Edit scan (
) for more information.
