Scan features (scan workflow)

For tests using the scan workflow, the WorkList view contains one or more scans in the scan listings. Each scan represents a digital image, scan data, test order data, and the features needed to review it.

Element

Description

Scan selection checkbox

Clicking the scan selection checkbox will select that scan and cause the Scans actions panel to appear at the top of the page.

Clicking the selection checkbox a second time deselects the scan.

Scan label

The name of the scan uploaded into the Sporecyte application. Clicking the scan label opens the scan in Gallery View.

View slide

Click to open the Slide View for that scan. For more information, view Slide view.

View report

Click to open the Reports view for that scan. For more information, view Reports.

Copy scan

Click to open the Copy scan dialog for the selected scan.

Add note

Click to add a note to the scan.

Once a note is added, the button's tooltip displays a shortened version of the note, and the image changes to a blue note button ().

Any notes added are included in the final report. You can edit a note by clicking the Add note button.

Edit scan

Click to open the Edit scan view for that scan.

Scan status

Displays the current status of that scan.

Test type

The test type for the selected scan.

Submission date

The date that the scan was uploaded into the Sporecyte application or manually created.

Barcode

The text that was transcribed by scanning and interpreting the barcode on a scan’s label.

Accession

The scan’s accession.

Tags

Tags are words or phrases that add information to a scan. 

Assigned to

To whom the scan is assigned. Click to open the Assigned to menu.
