Images and objects

Matthew Yarro Updated by Matthew Yarro

We refer to images and objects throughout the Sporecyte user guide and within the application. For clarity, an object is an object of interest marked (boxed) and pre-classified or classified. Objects are presented as part of an image gallery in Gallery View.

An Image presents a segment of the whole scan. It may include an object or be a general region of a scan, such as an adequacy region.
